Our services

What each engagement covers, what you receive at the end of it, and where our responsibility starts and stops.

01 / OPS

Operations review

A structured assessment of how the organisation actually runs, as opposed to how the org chart says it runs. The aim is to identify where effort is being absorbed without producing anything of value.

  • Walkthrough of core operational processes with the people who run them
  • Identification of bottlenecks, duplicated effort and manual workarounds
  • Review of existing operational data and what it does or does not show
  • Findings report with issues ranked by impact and effort to fix

You receive: a written findings report, a prioritised issue list, and a recommended sequence of work.

02 / PRC

Process improvement

Taking a specific process apart and rebuilding it so that it is faster, less error-prone and documented in a way people will follow. We work on the process as it is used, not as it was once written down.

  • Current-state process mapping with cycle times and handoff points
  • Removal of steps that add cost without adding value
  • Design of the target process with clear ownership at each stage
  • Written procedure, and training for the people who will use it
  • Agreed measures so improvement can be verified afterwards

You receive: process maps, a documented target process, and the measures to check it is holding.

03 / PRJ

Project and programme delivery

Support for projects that have stalled, overrun, or started without a clear definition of what finished looks like. We can review and advise, or take on delivery management directly.

  • Independent project health check and honest status assessment
  • Scope definition, deliverable breakdown and realistic planning
  • Governance structure, decision rights and escalation routes
  • Risk and issue management that is maintained, not just created
  • Reporting that tells sponsors what they need to decide on

You receive: a status assessment, a replanned delivery schedule, and a governance framework in use.

04 / CHG

Organisational change

Structural and role changes, and the communication around them. A change that is announced but not explained tends to be reversed informally within a few months.

  • Review of structure, roles and accountability gaps or overlaps
  • Target operating model and the transition path to reach it
  • Stakeholder mapping and a communication plan with real content
  • Support for managers who have to hold the conversations
  • Post-change review to confirm the new way of working has held

You receive: a target operating model, a transition plan, and communication materials.

05 / PRF

Performance and reporting

Defining what should be measured and building reporting that gets used. Most organisations have too many measures and too little insight.

  • Review of existing measures against what the organisation needs to decide
  • Definition of a small set of measures with clear, agreed calculations
  • Design of management reporting and the cadence it runs on
  • Data source review and documentation of known limitations

You receive: a defined measure set with calculation rules, and a working reporting pack.

06 / ADV

Interim and advisory support

Short-term capacity where a specific piece of work needs doing and the team does not have room for it, or ongoing advisory input for a management team.

  • Defined-scope interim support for a fixed period
  • Advisory sessions for leadership teams facing a specific decision
  • Review of a plan, business case or proposal before it is committed to
  • Second opinion on work prepared internally or by another adviser

You receive: the agreed deliverable for the engagement, with a defined end point.

Scope of advice. We provide management consultancy. We do not provide regulated financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, audit or tax services. Where an engagement touches on those areas, we will say so and recommend that you take advice from an appropriately qualified and, where relevant, regulated professional.

Not sure which of these fits?

Most enquiries do not arrive neatly labelled. Describe the situation and we will tell you which approach makes sense — or that none of them does.
